To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Summer League, one of the original organisers from 1986, Aidan Jackson ( Notts AC) has introduced 2 Founders Cups .These will be presented to the winner of the 1st Summer League race each year."
Inaugural winners are:
Steven Sims ( Newark AC) and Hayley Gill ( Mansfield Harriers)- both pictured with Aidan Jackson.

The Hockey Museum (THM) is saddened to report the recent death of Joan Wall (née Barnett) – an ex-England international player who also had an outstanding record in the development and promotion of hockey before becoming one of the first volunteers to support The Hockey Museum (THM). Additionally, Joan had a fine career in athletics at county level before serving with distinction in various administrative capacities for both sports.

This is to advise clubs of car parking for athletic competitions due to be held at Berry Hill Track this summer.
There is very limited parking at the park itself and athletes, officials and spectators are requested to use the COAL AUTHORITY car park NG18 4RG. The entrance to the Coal Authority is less than 50m from the main entrance to the park on Litchfield Lane.
